Position: Senior Consultant

Martin is a successful professional HR generalist with over 20yrs experience working at a Senior HR Manager level in Local Government, Further and Higher Education. A proven commercial track record set the pattern to become an astute HR Business Partner working in collaboration and supporting Directors/Senior Managers on change management strategies. This included projects on Workplace Conflict, Corporate Responsibility and Information and Consultation Forums.

An Accredited Mediation Practitioner by the Law Society in resolving workplace and community conflicts. Able to develop trusting and influential relationships using a consultative, flexible, problem solving approach in Employee Relations. An experienced TUPE practitioner as both transferor and transferee in over 100 contractual arrangements. Martin has also added value as a p/t Lecturer in CIPD courses at a local FE college.

Acted successfully as an HR Consultant in a Creative Learning in new Media Enterprises research project funded by the European Union at a local University. Martin has been a Chartered Fellow of the cipd since 2007 and active in the cipd Manchester Branch. A Foundation Governor and Vice Chair at a local primary school since 2014.
