Karen Burns – Executive Headteacher, Inspire Academy
(Primary Academy, Tameside)
EnlightenedHR have fully supported the Trust throughout the pre-opening phase of Inspire Academy. They advised and supported the Trust on all issues to do with staffing structures, staff terms and conditions, recruitment and selection, safeguarding and safer recruitment, and pre-employment checks. They also worked with us on the drafting of staff job descriptions, contracts, HR and general policies, the staff handbook and various internal audit documents. Since the Academy opened in September 2015 they have provided both strategic and operational HR support to the Trust, governors and senior leaders. We have found the service to be of an excellent standard. All members of the team are responsive, reliable and exceptionally knowledgeable. We feel really well supported and will continue to work with Enlightened HR as we grow our Trust.
Stephen Taylor – Head Teacher, The Family School
(AP Free School, London)
I can only say that we are very happy with the service that Enlightened HR provide and we will be continuing with them in the future. The turn around time is excellent and there haven’t been any issues that they couldn’t help us resolve speedily.
Kayleigh Armstrong – HR Manager, The Milton Keynes Academy
Enlightened HR has been an invaluable asset to the Milton Keynes Academy. We have received timely, expert advice on a number of varied and complex HR matters and are very satisfied with their professionalism and overall standards of service. Their advice has been consistently sound, and we have never been disappointed in the quality of their support.
Enlightened HR is easily contactable and will always deliver a flexible, effective and efficient service. We are particularly delighted to have a designated consultant who has sound experience and knowledge, and a high level of organisational and cultural understanding of the Academy, thereby delivering a personalised service to meet our needs. Our designated consultant has built very strong relationships with the staff that she deals with and we have great confidence in her abilities.
We would highly recommend them to any organisation.

Finance Director, Buckinghamshire Learning Trust
(Mutual School Support Services Trust)
EnlightenedHR is able to relate HR to real-world business needs. For some months one of the EnlightenedHR Senior Team, Karen Delgado, has been working with us to support a wide range of strategic changes across the organisation. Karen is now viewed by many in the Trust as a Chief Human Resources Officer who provides a good sounding board and is a trusted business partner. The organisation is able to rely on Karen’s skills in linking people and numbers to diagnose weaknesses and strengths in the organisation, finding the right fit between employees and jobs; and advising on the talent implications of the company’s strategy.
We have been especially impressed with the high level of service and communication that we have received from other members of the EnlightenedHR team. Karen has developed very quickly a full appreciation and understanding of our business needs and culture, and has been able to bring in other EnlightenedHR colleagues with specific skills and experience to boost internal capacity. EnlightenedHR has adapted well when the brief was modified or refined, showing a high level of flexibility in their approach.
